The European Financial Data Institute is an academic institute of the CNRS and ESSEC Business School. Its main mission is to develop financial databases for academic researchers in finance.

EUROFIDAI (CNRS/ESSEC) Daily Database provides:

• Stock market data going back to 1977 for France, 1980 for Europe, 1986 for Asia, Middle East and Oceania, 1988 for Africa and 1998 for South America
• Data on mutual fund traded over-the-counter or in organized markets worldwide since 1975
• Spot exchange rates since 1975 

EUROFIDAI ESG data (CNRS/ESSEC) Raw Data on Corporations powered by Clarity AI provides:

• Detailed reported and estimated data on 105 ESG metrics.
• Coverage of more than 70,000 corporations worldwide since 2016
• Annual data with monthly updates

Specific features

Students are allowed to use the database only in the context of a course and with the approval of the professor.

Access by personal account: fill in the account creation form you will receive your identifiers by email. 

The data is directly available online through the EUROFIDAI website, which allows you to work from any computer.
