Well-being at work

Labour Day (or May Day) has been celebrated on Thursday 1 May 2025. An opportunity to take a closer look at the concept of well-being at work.

According to Vincent Grosjean, head of research at the Institut national de recherche et de sécurité (INRS), well-being at work "refers to a general feeling of satisfaction and fulfilment in and through work that goes beyond the absence of damage to health. Well-being focuses on the personal and collective perception of work situations and constraints. The sense of these realities has, for each individual, physical, psychological, emotional and psychosocial consequences and translates into a certain level of efficiency for the company".

In France, this issue is linked to that of Quality of Life and Working Conditions (QLWC)

At ESSEC, the ESSEC Care programme has been launched to provide better support for the institution's employees in the area of mental health. Accompanied by a mobile application, it gives employees access to a personalised range of workshops, conferences and coaching sessions.

At the same time, K-lab is hosting an exhibition on the subject.
