Short Story Awards Ceremony 2023
On June 7 at noon, the Department of Languages & Cultures is organizing the 15th edition of the Short Stories awards ceremony.
All French-speaking pre-master's students have put their creativity to work, each writing a short story in English. The best entries will be awarded on Wednesday at a ceremony on the first floor of the Learning Center.
This year’s theme, ‘From the Art’, encouraged students to draw inspiration from any work of art and use it as a springboard, a trigger to bring it to life in an original, linguistically stylized work of fiction.
On the occasion of the competition's 10th anniversary, Michael Kouklakis, Director of the Department of Languages & Cultures, had published an article on the Pedagolab@ESSEC blog. In it, he elaborated on the importance of storytelling and writing skills for business school students.
The best short stories are then published in a collection that you can borrow from the Learning Center. You can find previous editions of student short stories in the News and Culture section.
