Specific features

• Access for a temporary account: please fill in the Workspace access request form, you will receive an email from LSEG to access the resource.

Workspace - Microsoft Excel includes as attached account the Excel add-in Datastream For Office - DFO for more historical market data. 

Please note that you can only access Workspace on Mac® operating systems by using the web version, which does not include Datastream. 
Data downloads are limited to 50 pages per day.

Detailed and historical earnings estimates for more than 70,000 companies around the globe

• Compustat

Financial and market data covering 99% of the world's companies back up to 20 years

• CRSP (Center for Research in Security Prices)

NYSE, AMEX & Nasdaq stock data related to over 20,000 companies

Specific features

• Ask for a 24h ID and password​
• Faculty and Ph.D. can request a personal account  (click on "register" in the top bar menu)
• When logging into the account for the first time, a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is required to secure access to the account. The 2FA authentication guide is available on the WRDS website.
