The MOOC "Deploying the Circular Economy in Organizations", created by Pierre-Emmanuel Saint-Esprit, Director of the Global Circular Economy Chair, in collaboration with strategy consultancy Circulab, tackles the challenge of climate disruption by focusing on the importance of the circular economy. Aimed at a wide range of stakeholders including large corporations, SMEs, start-ups, associations and public authorities, the course explores the limits of the linear economy based on the "Take-Make-Waste" principle, and highlights the need for a transition to the circular economy. Breaking away from the limited perception associated with recycling and waste management, the MOOC emphasizes the systemic nature of the circular economy in all sectors. It is illustrated by the testimonies of three companies involved in this transition, from various sectors, and explores the role of start-ups, SMEs and social economy players in this evolution.
