European Sustainable Development Week 2024
This year's European Sustainable Development Week is being held from September 18 to October 8. The aim of this event is to raise awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations, and most importantly, to commit everyone to action to reach them by 2030.
To mark the occasion, Together is organizing a variety of events at ESSEC, including a 2-tonne workshop for staff, a conference with Jean Jouzel, audio walks around Cergy on the theme of biodiversity, a screening of the documentary Bigger Than Us, and much more!
The K-lab provides the ESSEC community with a wide range of resources to help them better understand the ins and outs of each of the SDGs, and work together to develop solutions to achieve them. You will find a selection of these resources on display on the first floor of the Learning Center, and here is a glimpse of it:
Good economics for hard times: better answers to our biggest problems / Abhijit V. Banerjee and Esther Duflo
La transition énergétique : objectif zen / Fanny Henriet et Katheline Schubert
Le Genre du capital / Bessière, Céline
| Ralentir ou périr : l'économie de la décroissance / Timothée Parrique |
The K-lab also selected some resources in those guides:
- Highlight on "Sustainability and ecological transition"
- Highlight on "Digital sobriety"
